The Potomac State College/Community Jazz Ensemble will host a big band jazz festival on Tuesday, April 16th.  The program, which will feature area school jazz ensembles, will begin at 6:30 p.m. in the Church-McKee Arts Center.  The festival has developed into a popular annual event that has showcased many young musicians and their bands over the past several years.

Participating school bands this year are Keyser Middle, Braddock Middle, Washington Middle, Allegany High, Fort Hill High, Frankfort High, Keyser High, and Mountain Ridge High School.  The festival host, PSC Jazz Ensemble, will also perform to close the program.

The program is free, and the public is encouraged to attend and help support the education and performance of jazz music in our schools.
