Potomac State offering five-week ‘Grapes to Grains’ course
Potomac State College of West Virginia University will once again offer a selection of Special Interest courses this fall. Stepping into Grapes and Grains will meet on Tuesdays, (September 10 and 24, October 8 and 22 and November 5) from 6 to 8:45 p.m. in the Agriculture Technology Building, Room 100.
Individuals will learn the fundamentals of fermentation, the availability of grapes and other fruits, and the difference between wine, lagers and ales. PSC Professors Donna Ballard and Tom Sydow will explore and develop the basic knowledge and skills associated with the home production of wines and beers. Participants must be 21 years of age or older.
