Harvey receives Gustafson Agriculture Scholarship

Tiffany Harvey Tiffany Harvey (right), a general agriculture major from Rockport, W.Va., was the recipient of the Oscar “Gus” Gustafson Agriculture Scholarship, which was established as a memorial by the family of “Gus” Gustafson in honor of his service to the College where he served as professor of agriculture from 1956 until his retirement in 1988.

Recipients of this scholarship must demonstrate good academic standing, major in agriculture and must also be a West Virginia resident attending Potomac State College full-time.

The College recently held a reception where donors had the opportunity to meet and talk with the student recipients of their scholarships. Mrs. Gustafson enjoyed learning about the future plans of Harvey while Harvey was able to learn the history of the Gustafson scholarship.
