Senior Admissions Counselor and coordinator of the event, Christine Hess had this to say, "Participation in a Potomac State Open House event is a great step in ensuring success as a college student. Our Open House event gives prospective students and their families the opportunity to gather first-hand information about our programs and our facilities. They will be able to interact with our faculty, staff and administrators in order to get a glimpse of the total PSC experience."
The day kicks off with registration and refreshments at 8:30 a.m. in the Church-McKee Arts Center, where students will get a chance to meet PAWS, the PSC mascot. That will be followed by a general welcome at which time the following informational sessions will be available: financial aid and scholarships, residence life, admissions counselors, and Academic Success Center. Additionally, there will be a question and answer session.
Students and parents are invited to take a campus tour and enjoy a complimentary lunch in the College’s dining facility. An optional tour of the College’s agricultural/forestry/farm facilities will also be available.
