Potomac State SGA gives away $100 Book scholarship

The Potomac State College Student Government Association has been holding a half-time contest at recent Men's' and Women's Basketball games at the Lough Gymnasium.

Justin Russell and PAWS
Justin Russell, seen here with PSC mascot PAWS, picked up a $100 schaolarship for his basketball shooting skills.

Random students were chosen at each game and had 1 minute to successfully make a free throw, a three point shot and a half court shot. Over 10 students participated in this event during each of the last three games and during PSC's game with Garrett College Justin Russell completed the task.

Russell, from Bunker Hill, WV blitzed right through all three shots to claim a $100 Book Scholarship which was donated from the Potomac State College Campus Book Store.

SGA would like to thank everyone for attending the games and to everyone who participated in the events.

On Tuesday the SGA will be at it again, this time sponsoring a Blood Drive at the Davis Conference Center from 9:00 AM- 3:00 PM.
