Potomac State Holds 110th Commencement Ceremony

Potomac State College graduate Cody Wedge of Meyersdale, Pa. celebrates after the 110th Annual commencement on Saturday in Keyser with his son Bryson. Wedge graduated with an associate of arts degree in mechanical engineering.

Samantha Cogle of Charles Town, W.Va. didn’t let a little rain dampen her spirits after receiving her associate of arts degree in agriculture at Potomac State College of WVU’s 110th Commencement in Keyser on Saturday. Her mom, Mary was there with an umbrella to keep the new grad dry.
Four new grads
Four future elementary teachers, (l-r) Lauren Akers of Ft. Ashby, Brooke Hinchman of Keyser, Trish Johnson from Burlington, and Shelby Snead of Bartow, W.Va. preview the Potomac State College of West Virginia University 110th Commencement program minutes before the ceremony began on Saturday morning in Keyser. All four girls received the associate of arts degree in elementary education.
Double Duty
Potomac State College of West Virginia University Dean of Student Affairs, William Letrent helped to capture a memory by taking a picture of new grad Christoper Pascoe and his girlfriend Heather Laverty after the 110th Annual Commencement in Keyser on Saturday morning. Pascoe, from Bel Air, Md. , received his associate of arts degree in criminal justice. His girlfriend Heather is from Augusta, W. Va.
