“Keyser’s Got Talent” Competition to be held at Potomac State
The BSA Club at Potomac State College of West Virginia University will hold the first annual “Keyser’s Got Talent” competition on Monday, December 2 at the Church-McKee Arts Center from 7 – 9 p.m.
The cost of admission is $5 for adults, $2 for children 12 and under, and $2 for students with ID. Tickets will be sold at the door the night of the event.
Auditions were previously held. Contestants will try to sing, play, and dance their way into the winner’s circle by entertaining the crowd with their diverse talents. From a cup song mash up to a performance of “Smooth Criminal” by Michael Jackson himself, Keyser doesn’t just “Got Talent,” it’s got variety. Expert musicians playing country, pop, rock, classical, rap, and bluegrass music, sometimes with instruments you’d least expect (we’re not telling, but you’ll hear the piano, fiddle, flute, cello, and every type of guitar). Songwriters performing original music. Solos. Duets. Full three- and four-piece bands.
