Alumni honored during Potomac State Homecoming

Homecoming Honorees

Potomac State College of West Virginia University recently recognized four individuals at their annual awards banquet during Homecoming festivities.  Pictured left to right:  Campus Provost Len Colelli; Amanda Compton (Class of ’99), the first dual-licensed veterinary technician/equine dental technician with the Virginia Board of Veterinary Medicine was presented with the Young Alumni Award.  The following two individuals were presented with the Alumni Achievement Award: Robert Harman (Class of ’60), who served as the Administrator/CEO of Grant Memorial Hospital in Petersburg, W.Va. from 1965 to 2010 and Edward Richards (Class of ‘53), who served as a research and technical service agronomist for 22 years.  Jennings Stickley, president of the PSC Alumni Association, served as Master of Ceremonies and as a presenter.  Not pictured, Edith Ludwick, who was the recipient of the Distinguished Service Award.
