PSC sponsors Catamount Series Horse Shows
Potomac State College of West Virginia University will continue the Catamount Series Horse Shows on Saturday, September 13, with the final show being held on September 27. The Horse Shows are being held at the College’s Indoor Riding Arena which is located at the top of Chestnut Street; the shows begin at 9 a.m. and spectators are free to the event.
The Small Fry Showmanship is for ages 12 years and under. The Youth Showmanship is for ages 18 years and under; there is also an Adult Showmanship.
The various divisions include: English, Youth English, Small Fry English, Western, Youth Western, Small Fry Western, Pony, Mini, Speed, and Youth Speed. Points earned per division will be calculated for the Catamount Series Year-End Awards.
All out-of-state horses must have a 30-day health certificate and all horses are required to have a 12-month negative Coggins test.
Fees for entering are as follows: $5 Class fee; $3 Leadline; $10 Jackpot classes; and $5 Ring fee per horse/pony.
