Potomac State ‘Thanks’ supporters
Potomac State College of West Virginia University would like to thank all of our friends and alumni who participated in the Spring Phone-a-Thon earlier this year. Through your support, The Foundation was able to raise more than $8,000 which will impact several areas of the College. Although the calls are made from the WVU Campus, all contributions and donations stay at Potomac State to benefit Potomac State and the College’s students.
The majority of the funds were pledged to the president’s discretionary fund, which is used for various projects around campus, with an emphasis on student support. Other gifts support the College’s scholarship fund, which benefits students who have financial needs; thereby, giving them the opportunity to pursue a college education that previously may not have been available to them.
Your generosity positively impacts the lives of students and gives Potomac State faculty and staff the ability to continue to serve our students.
If you have an interest in other giving options such as scholarship endowments or planned giving, please contact Lucas Taylor, director of development at firstname.lastname@example.org, office 304.788.6995.
