PSC to host session on new social work degree

KEYSER, WV - West Virginia University School of Social Work is accepting regular-standing applications for a Master of Social Work (MSW) degree program located on the campus of Potomac State College in Keyser.

Regular standing students with bachelor’s degree in any major and an overall GPA of 2.75 or better can apply for this master’s degree program.

An information session will be held at Potomac State College, Academy Hall - Room 118, from 6-8 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 28. WVU Social Work Faculty will be on hand to provide information about the program and answer questions.

The program’s students take six graduate credit hours each semester, including summer sessions. Classes are offered in a variety of formats including classroom instruction on the Potomac State Campus, distance education, and online classes. The program is part-time and is geared for individuals with full-time jobs. All classes are held on weekday evenings or on Saturdays with some online options.
