Kerling receives Potomac State College Safety Award

Potomac State College of West Virginia University recently honored many of their students, faculty and staff with awards and recognition during its annual Weekend of Honors. Brian Kerling (left), who serves as assistant director of public safety and transportation as well as deputy chief of police at the College, was the recipient of the Safety Awardwhich was presented by Chemistry Professor Henry Falkowski. The Excellence in Safety Award is given to a faculty or staff member who has aided the College in making the campus community a safer place in which to work and study.  This person has contributed a lot of his or her personal time to bettering the safety of the campus community.  This award is chosen by the Campus Chemical Hygiene Officer (CHO).  This position is a Federal Government mandated position.
