Catamounts fall in back-and-forth game to Wake Tech

Potomac State Men’s Basketball dropped a back-and-forth affair at the Division II NJCAA basketball National Tournament today by a score of 93-88 to Wake Tech.

PSC, who last played in the National Tourney in the late 1970’s, led for much of the second half, but could not hold on as they fall to 20-9 on the season.

Reggie Baker led Potomac State with 28 points shooting 13-23 from the floor and adding seven rebounds. While Marcus Banks added 22 points and Derondell Jenkins chipped in 13 points and 12 rebounds.

Derylton Hill added 14 rebounds as PSC trailed the battle on the glass 43-41.

Potomac State will now face Carl Sandburg Community College in a consolation game tomorrow at 4PM.
