Alumnus Roy Whipp recognized by Potomac State

Roy Whipp

Alumnus Roy H. Whipp, Class of 1967 (right ) and a native of Burlington, W.Va. who currently resides in St. Petersburg, Florida, was recently recognized with the inscription of his name on the Duke Anthony Whitmore/Henry Louis Gates, Jr. Academic Achievement Wall at Potomac State College of West Virginia University.  Whipp has served as general manager at the FIOR de Venezuela plant in Puerto Ordaz, Venezuela; as president of Whipp Technology LLC; has authored, co-authored or led the production of more than 60 technical presentations, courses and magazine articles; and holds several copyrights and numerous patents.
