Weaver accepts position at Potomac State

Amy Weaver, of Ft. Ashby, W.Va., was recently named as a visiting instructor at Potomac State College of West Virginia University where she will be teaching courses in both business and computer information systems.

Weaver began her career at Potomac State in 2013 as an adjunct instructor teaching introductory classes in computer applications.  Weaver previously worked for Mineral County Schools in West Virginia teaching computer applications and as a long-term substitute teacher in Spanish, science, math and marketing.  Weaver also achieved ‘Million Dollar Producer’ status at Century 21 Mountain Heritage Realty where she worked from 2003 to 2007.

Weaver earned an associate degree from Potomac State College in 2003, her bachelor’s degree in business administration with a concentration in management from Frostburg State University in Frostburg, Md. and her master of arts in teaching with an emphasis in business education certification from Marshall University.

Weaver and her husband, Anthony, are the parents of four boys, Adyn, Alyn, Albyn, and Alyjah.
