Hampshire High graduates receive scholarships from Potomac State
Potomac State College (PSC) of West Virginia University is pleased to announce that the following students from Hampshire High School have been offered various academic scholarships.
Kaye Funk is a PSC-BSN nursing major from Augusta and the recipient of the Ruth Ward Davis Memorial Nursing Scholarship.
Kevin Turner is a biology major from Bloomery and the recipient of the Al Barr Scholarship.
Luke Corbin, from Capon Bridge, is majoring in pre-dentistry and is the recipient of the PSC General Scholarship.
Kayla Didawick, from Levels, is majoring in pre-forensic and investigative science and is the recipient of the Brown Umberger/Dorothy Wilson Scholarship.
Sarah Thorne is an animal science major from Romney and the recipient of the Oscar “Gus” Gustafson Agriculture Scholarship.
Paige Bohrer, from Shanks, is an agriculture technology major and the recipient of the Hampshire County Student Salute Scholarship.
Alexus Woods, from Slanesville, is a psychology major and the recipient of the Evelyn Bane Bright Scholarship.
Samantha Spaid, from Yellow Spring, is an elementary education major and the recipient of the Dean Kirkland S. & Beatrice H. McKee Memorial Scholarship.
