PSC Students receive Verso Scholarships
Potomac State College of West Virginia University is pleased to announce that the following students have been offered Verso (previously NewPage) Scholarships. The Corporation has a 30-year history of fulfilling the company’s commitment to education in awarding scholarships to children of employees.
Alyson Coleman is a pre-med major from Piedmont, W.Va. and a graduate of Keyser High School. She is the daughter of Paul Coleman.
Bethany Biser is a nursing major and the daughter of James Biser. She also was awarded the Ruth Ward Davis Memorial Nursing Scholarship. Cody Lyons is a third-year psychology major and the son of Michael Lyons. Both students are residents of Westernport, Md. and graduates of Mountain Ridge High School.
Six of the students are Keyser residents and graduates of Keyser High School. Clarissa Carnell is an occupational therapy major and the daughter of Phillip Todd Carnell. Jared Wagoner is a history major and the son of Timothy Wagoner. Jonathan Evans is majoring in information technology and is the son of Timothy Evans. Ryan Hickey is a second-year general studies major and the son of Kelli Wittman. Allyssa Grubbs is a second-year elementary education major and the daughter of Steve Grubbs. Kathryn Tasker is a second-year nursing major and the daughter of George Tasker.
Sharen Wagoner is a non-traditional student majoring in general studies; she is also the mother of Jared Wagoner.
