PSC Student Government Association Passes Initiative for Veterans

SGA Veterans Initiative

Members of the Student Government Association (SGA) at Potomac State College of West Virginia University met with Campus President Leonard Colelli recently regarding recent SGA Initiatives.

Members of the Student Government Association (SGA) at Potomac State College of West Virginia University are part of several initiatives, one of which includes securing a few more parking spaces and other provisions that will benefit veterans. This initiative is in conjunction with the submission of Bill: 100, titled, “Military Friendly Act of 2014.” Potomac State was named to the 2015 Military Friendly Schools list for a second consecutive year by Victory Media which serves as a media entity for military personnel transitioning into civilian life.

SGA members also worked closely with Health Services at the College, to secure the purchase of six defibrillators which will be placed in buildings around campus.
