Homecoming Royalty crowned at Potomac State

Potomac State College of West Virginia University recently crowned a new king and queen during homecoming activities at the College.
Aniqua Lower, who is a sophomore majoring in communications studies, was crowned as the 76th Homecoming Queen at the College. Lower is a graduate of the Union Education Complex in Mount Storm, W.Va. She also serves as vice president of the Student Government Association. Additionally, Aniqua will serve as a princess at the 2016 Shenandoah Apple Blossom Festival in Winchester, Va. in the spring.
Mackenzie Halterman, a sophomore political science major from Green Bank, W.Va., was crowned as the 21st Homecoming King. Halterman is a graduate of Pocahontas County High School and serves as president of the Student Government Association at the College. Both Lower and Halterman were recognized during the basketball games and at the annual Alumni Awards banquet.
