PSC Theatre Announces Auditions for Disney's High School Musical

Attention anyone interested in auditioning for Potomac State College Theatre's production of Disney's High School Musical! The live stage version of this show is scheduled to be performed at High School MusicalPotomac State College in March of 2016 and auditions will take place in the Church-McKee Arts Center on November 15, and 16, 2015 beginning promptly at 7:00 PM.  You only need to attend one evening. Please plan on arriving early to give yourself time to fill out the audition form and to have the opportunity to meet the directors and choreographer.  Instructions to assist in the audition process and general encouragement will be given at that time.  Here is what you can do to prepare for the audition:

  1. You will be taught a short dance combination.

            •Come prepared to dance in loose fitting clothes.

            •Wear comfortable/proper shoes (dance shoes, etc.)

  1. Prepare a 2 minute song to sing that shows you at your best—bring an accompaniment of your choice...either a score for our accompanist to play, your own accompanist (a piano will be provided), or a CD or MP3.
  2. Bring a positive attitude and have fun!!

The first cast rehearsal will be held during the first full week of January, 2016.  Show dates are March 11-20, 2016.
