Harrison receives scholarship from Potomac State

Potomac State College (PSC) of West Virginia University (WVU) is pleased to announce that Paige Harrison, of Beverly, has been offered the Thelma E. Walden Scholarship, which was established in 1993 by Ronald T. Walden in memory of his mother, Thelma.  This particular scholarship is awarded to graduates of Elkins High School who have earned academic achievement, are involved in extracurricular activities and a have a grade point average of 2.0 or above.

Paige HarrisonHarrison is a graduate of Elkins High School and plans to major in journalism.

PSC is a division of WVU, located in Keyser, W.Va., and offers more than 50 programs of study culminating in two- and four-year degrees.  The College has been recognized the past three years as one of the most affordable four-year colleges in the nation
