Potomac State to host additional Open House event September 17
Potomac State College of West Virginia University has added an additional Open House event to this year’s schedule – Saturday, Sept. 17th – for prospective students and their families to visit campus.
“By visiting an Open House event, students and their families are able to experience first-hand the various aspects the College has to offer,” said Beth Little, director of Enrollment Services.
Students will also get the opportunity to interact with current students, faculty, staff, and administrators. Other Open House dates include: Friday, Nov. 11 and Monday, Feb. 20, 2017.
This event will kick off at 9 a.m. in the Davis Conference Center with registration and refreshments. Welcome comments will begin at 9:30 a.m. followed by informational break-out sessions including: Potomac State at a Glance, Academics, Housing and Residence Life, and Financial Aid and Scholarships.
Other highlights include:
- An opportunity to win a $500 book scholarship
- Application review and admission on the spot (please bring your high school transcript)
- Complimentary lunch in our cafeteria
- Campus tours
- 25% off one logo-imprinted item purchased at the PSC Bookstore
- An Academic Student Services Fair offering an opportunity for questions and answers
Prospective students and their families will be able to learn about academic programs, admissions, athletics, health services, dining services, accessibility services, student involvement and recreation, and library resources, as well as visit our Academic Success Center.
