Potomac State offering five-session Grapes to Grains course

Potomac State College of West Virginia University will offer a Special Interest courses this fall called Stepping into Grapes and Grains  that will meet on specific Thursdays, (September 22, October 6 and 20, November 3 and 17) from 6 to 8:45 p.m. in the Agriculture Technology Building, Room 100. 

Individuals will learn the fundamentals of fermentation, the availability of grapes and other fruits, and the difference between wine, lagers and ales. PSC Professors Donna Ballard and Tom Sydow will explore and develop the basic knowledge and skills associated with the home production of wines and beers. Participants must be 21 years of age or older.
