Potomac State Presents Grand Champion Cadence Award

Potomac State College of West Virginia University sponsored the grand champion award for the Sixth Annual Cadence in the Valley Marching Band Competition coordinated by the Keyser High School Band Boosters. The Keyser High School Golden Tornado Marching Band welcomed six bands to Alumni Field in Keyser, W. Va. including: Northern Garrett High School of Accident, Md.; Pocahontas High School of Pipestem, W.Va.; Frankfort High School of Fort Ashby, W.Va.; Mountain Ridge High School of Frostburg, Md.; Allegany and Fort Hill High Schools of Cumberland, Md.; and Southern Garrett High School of Oakland, Md. Claiming the Grand Champion title was Allegany High School. Presenting the award to Drum Major Jared Klemm on behalf of Potomac State was Bernadette Capaldi, administrative assistant in the Business Office, who has also helped with Cadence since its inception.
