Potomac State College/Community Band to Present Spring Concert April 25th

The West Virginia University/Potomac State College (PSC) Community Concert Band will perform their Spring Concert on Tuesday, April 25, at 7:30 p.m. in the Church-McKee Arts Center auditorium in Keyser, WV. The band is directed by Richard Frush. Admission is free. 

The West Virginia University/Potomac State College (PSC) Community Concert Band will perform their Spring Concert on Tuesday, April 25, at 7:30 p.m. in the Church-McKee Arts Center auditorium in Keyser, WV. The band is directed by Richard Frush.

The concert will feature a variety of selections by such notable composers as Samuel Hazo, Alfred Reed, Richard Saucedo, and David Holsinger.

Opening the concert will be the premiere performance of “Hanover Square March” written for the band by Charles Whitehill, Ph.D., PSC music professor emeritus.

The challenging Slocum arrangement of “The Marriage of Figaro Overture” by Mozart is sure to keep the audience on the edge of their seats.

The band will take everyone to the world's happiest place as they perform “A Disneyland Celebration” featuring the most recognizable music of Walt Disney.

This annual Spring Concert is free of admission and the public is cordially invited to attend.
