Potomac State to present Awakening Our Social Justice panel discussion

West Virginia University’s Potomac State College will present a panel discussion on race, gender and sexuality in higher education on Tuesday, August 22 at 4 p.m. in the Davis Conference Center.  This event is free and open to the public.

Social Justice‘Awakening Our Social Justice’ will include distinguished students and college administrators who will discuss the politics of social justice in higher education.

“Learn how to become a champion of change in a world where racism, classism, sexism, and heterosexism still exist.  Join the discussion with students and faculty about how the institution of higher education can become the advocate of inclusivity,” stated Jason Ottley, developmental advising specialist.
