Catamount Series Horse Shows scheduled at Potomac State
On Saturdays, April 8 and 29, WVU Potomac State College will once again host the Catamount Series Horse Show at the College’s Indoor Riding Arena located at the top of Chestnut Street in Keyser. The shows begin at 9 a.m. and spectators may attend the event free of charge.
The Small Fry Showmanship is for ages 12 years and under. The Youth Showmanship is for ages 18 years and under, and there is also an Adult Showmanship.
The various divisions include: English, Youth English, Small Fry English, Western, Youth Western, Small Fry Western, Pony, Mini, Speed, and Youth Speed. Points earned per division will be calculated for the Catamount Series Year-End Awards.
All out-of-state horses must have a 30-day health certificate and all horses are required to have a 12-month negative Coggins test.
Fees for entering are as follows: $5 Class fee; $3 Leadline; $10 Jackpot classes; and $5 Ring fee per horse or pony.
