Discover Potomac State Day Drawing Winners Announced

Discover Potomac State Day, an open house event, was recently held on the campus of West Virginia University Potomac State College in Keyser, W.Va. During the event two names were drawn to win a $500 book scholarship and a $500 tuition scholarship. Beth Little, Dean of Enrollment Services and University Relations, presented the scholarship certificates. The next Discover Potomac State Day will be held Monday, February 18, 2019. Noah Barkley’s name was drawn as the lucky winner of a $500 book scholarship. Barkley is from Arbovale, W.Va., and he currently attends Pocahontas County High School. He is the son of Matthew Barkley.

Hanna Hilemarian’s name was drawn as the lucky winner of a $500 tuition scholarship from a pool of students who enrolled in Potomac State during the event. Hilemarian is from Moorefield, W.Va., where she currently attends Moorefield High School. She is the daughter of Yonas Tefera and Tsegainesh Abiye.
