Dining Services -- 304-788-6917 The "all-you-care-to-eat" dine-in facility is called "Commons" and the ala carte style dining to-go is called the "Rapids" and both are located in University Place. For more information, please click on Dining Services in the yellow block.

Health Insurance -- Protection against medical expenses that may be incurred as a result of illness or accident is an important responsibility. Students are responsible for paying all medical costs incurred at all off-campus medical facilities. All students are encouraged to establish a health insurance carrier before arriving on campus. The insurance that West Virginia University offers to students and visiting scholars and professors is through Mega Life and Health Insurance. In order to be eligible for the insurance, the student needs to be taking 3 or more credit hours. Eligible dependents of those enrolled in the plan may participate in the plan also. To purchase the policy, a brochure and applications can be picked up at the Student Health Services Office or in the Student Affairs Office. Premiums can be mailed to the insurance company or insurance can be purchased from the Web at www.uhcsr.com. Visit this Web site for information on dental and vision plans that may be available for an additional cost. All international students are required to have health insurance prior to the first day of classes.

Catamount I.D. Cards 304-788-6842 Catamount I.D. Cards are issued in the Student Affairs Office located in room 104 of the Administartion Building -All PSCstudents should carry an I.D. with them at all times when they are on campus -Your WVU I.D. number is encoded on the magnetic stripe on the back of the card -It serves as a meal card and library card, when applicable -Admission to the 2008 WVU football games with valid PSC ID and $10. Students must go to the North Gate on game day. Sorry, no online or telephone orders are accepted by WVU. Please check the PSC website for ticket availability before traveling to WVU games. No tickets will be available to students for sold out games. -Admission to the WVU basketball games with valid PSC I.D. and $10 -Free admission to Ballistic Bowling nights listed on the Events Calendar on the PSC website. Ballistic Bowling is sponsored by SGA. -Free admission to Highland Arts Unlimited Programs at Church McKee Arts Center. -Free admission to PSC home athletic games -Free admission to PSC play production -Mountie Bounty debit program is validated on the card for use at PSC and WVU

Residence Hall Student Mailboxes -- 304-788-7407 Student mailboxes are located on the top floor of the Student Union. Mail is distributed in boxes Monday through Friday, normlly after 2:30 p.m. Mail is not distributed on Saturday or Sunday. Student Union -- 304-788-6837 Located on the top floor: vending machines, computers and computer access, study area, student mailboxes, Barnes and Noble Bookstore, the SGA Office and the Catamount Activities Office. Located on the lower level: pool tables, ping pong table, large screen TV, game tables, vending machines Judicial Affairs Office and Student Activities Office.
The local newspaper, The Mineral Daily News is available for purchase at a box outside the Union. USA Today newspapers are available free to the students, sponsored by the Student Government Association. Late night activities, dances, and entertainers showcased at the NACA and APCA are held in the Student Union.
