Agriculture and Forestry Living and Learning Community Mission Statement

The Mission of the PSC Agriculture and Forestry Living and Learning Community is founded on the Mission of Potomac State College of WVU. To achieve our mission, the PSC Agriculture and Forestry Living Learning Community will:

ý        Enhance academic achievement

ý        Cultivate learning, leadership, and professional development opportunities outside the classroom

ý        Increase valuable interaction between students, faculty, and staff

ý        Foster an environment conducive to academic and personal success

ý        Promote relationships between students through educational programs, events, and activities

ý        Generate meaningful interactions between class cohorts ( i.e., 2007 freshman and 2008 freshman)

ý        Nurture social responsibility and receptive attitudes towards all members of the PSC community

These endeavors should invigorate the total holistic growth of the residents and create stronger connections with the College community; ultimately, stimulating residents to assume a continuous active role in their education and their community.
