Welcome Week/Campus Connections is the College's way of welcoming and orienting new students to campus life. It is for ALL students whether you commute from home or live in one of the College's residence halls. By participating, you will socialize with other students, who, like yourself, are new to Potomac State College of West Virginia University. You will also meet and get to know College faculty and staff who will serve as your guides to academic and personal success.
Many of you enrolled in University 101; a course designed to provide you with the tools that will enhance your chances of succeeding at Potomac State College. Welcome Week/Campus Connections and University 101 are tied together. By participating in the array of fun and informative events planned as part of Welcome Week/Campus Connections, you can earn credit in University 101.
Below is the current schedule of activities and events for Welcome Week/Campus Connections. Stay tuned throughout the summer for additional postings to this schedule as other activities and events will be added. All registered, first-year freshman have been mailed a postcard with information on web addresses listing detailed information on activities, events and University 101 programs.
