Student Support Services

Our Mission
To serve our SSS participants in many aspects of their college career at Potomac State College of West Virginia University.

The major purpose of Student Support Services is to provide support services to SSS participants to increase their retention and graduation rates, increase their transfer rates to four-year institutions, and to foster an institutional climate supportive of the success of low-income and first generation college students and individuals with disabilities.

SSS Program Profile
Our federally funded TRIO program is designed to provide support services to first generation, financial aid eligible, and disabled project participants.

Many of our participants, past and present, feel that their success at Potomac State College of WVU is partly due to the services we have provided to them.
