Dear PSC Alumni and Friends:
The spring semester has been bustling with activities. I am so proud of the environment that has been cultivated at WVU Potomac State College. The collaboration that I have witnessed among students and faculty continues to enhance a positive student learning environment.
The Catamount Community continues to respond to the needs of our students and partners with us enthusiastically. These partnerships allow us to improve our services and expand access to education throughout our region.
With the recent rollout of the WV Guarantee program, there will be more scholarship support for the fall 2025 semester. WVU Guarantee is a program across the entire WVU system for WV resident undergraduate students who have a family AGI (Annual Gross Income) of $65,000 or less and annually complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).
In addition, WVU Potomac State College can now expand opportunities for students throughout Maryland, Pennsylvania, and Virginia. The metro expansion initiative allows us to offer the metro tuition rate to the entirety of these three states, rather than just a few counties contiguous to West Virginia.
Another exciting addition is the growth of our athletics program. Starting in fall 2025, men’s and women’s track and field, both indoor and outdoor teams, will be offered at PSC.
As we prepare for an impactful fall 2025, WVU Potomac State College is positioned to make strides to increase student success and expand our ability to remove student barriers. I look forward to leading WVU Potomac State College into a brighter future.
