We have financial aid counselors available to assist with any questions you and your student may have about paying for college. We want your student to concentrate on succeeding in college – not how they are paying for it.

Parents or family members of current students can register to receive periodic updates and our periodic family email updates.

Parent/Guest Portal

Potomac State is now offering a Parent/Guest Portal where students can grant parents or guests direct online access to relevant student record information including grade information, financial aid details and student account/billing information.

FERPA Release

Students at West Virginia University and its divisional campuses benefit from the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act of 1974. This Act was designed to protect the privacy of education records.

Office of Engagement and Compliance

Creating a vibrant campus. In compliance with state and federal guidelines, we provide University-wide education, support leadership on issues relating to Titles VI, VII, and IX, the Americans with Disabilities Act and youth protection. We help maintain the welcoming community we all deserve.

Mental Health and Counseling Services

Our Mental Health and Counseling Services Center offers individual and group therapy and across-campus programs, activities and initiatives that seek to promote mental health awareness and de-stigmatize mental illness.

FIRST DAY® COMPLETE

WVU has partnered with  Barnes & Noble to provide undergraduate students with rented course materials at a lower, flat-rate price before the first day of classes. Students will receive email notifications from Barnes and Noble with specific instructions. The cost of the program will automatically be added to their fall charges. Students can choose to opt out of the program.
