2nd Annual PSC President’s Holiday Door Decorating Contest

The 2nd Annual PSC President’s Holiday Door Decorating Contest was held in December 2025. Alumnae and College retirees Karen Campbell and Rene Trezise served as judges. Points were awarded for theme, creativity, and craftsmanship.

The winning door was created by Megan Webb, who added a tray of tasty gingerbread cookies to her gingerbread house theme. The judges were tickled by Vicki Huffman’s humorous entry of PAWS licking a “metal pole” after being “triple dog dared” to. Vicki was awarded second place. April Shapiro and the entire nursing department worked together to create a winter cold and flu season entry, with snowmen urging the use of hand sanitizer and tissues. They were awarded third place.

An honorable mention went to the snowball fight of dueling doors between Anna Kephart and Mary Keister. A second-place honorable mention went to April Jones, whose Christmas tree was constructed of holiday-themed book titles.

Congratulations to all the winners and thanks to all of the participants who made the PSC campus and the holiday season both merry and bright. Take a look at all the entries online.
