PSC Alumni Association Outreach Program Highlights

During fall 2025, the PSC Alumni Association was represented on campus and in the community. The following are highlights of these events:

Thu-Sun, Oct 2-5: PSC Homecoming Weekend & Alumni Awards Reception

The PSC Alumni Association members, as well as Megan Webb, Director of Development; LaDonna Gardner, Alumni Relations Coordinator; Sabrina Cave, Alumni Board President; Batson Sheets, Alumni Board Vice-president; and Patty Sites, Alumni Board Secretary, and many other alumni participated in about every aspect of Homecoming from planning to execution. Throughout the entire weekend, alumni could be found all over the campus helping with events. The PSC Alumni Awards Reception was a featured event over the weekend with more than one hundred in attendance.

Patty Sites, LaDonna Gardner, and Megan Webb participated in this event for first-generation college students, faculty, and staff that was held at the Davis Conference Center. The Alumni Association was a sponsor and provided gift bags filled with snacks, office supplies, and more for the students. LaDonna was one of the guest speakers and led the students in a rousing trivia game that included prizes and lots of laughs.

Thu, Nov 20: Rotary Club Presentation

Megan Webb and LaDonna Gardner attended the Keyser Rotary Club meeting held at the North Branch Brewing Co., in Keyser. LaDonna shared information about the PSC Alumni Association, highlighting its mission, opportunities for collaborative partnerships, and ways to get involved, including serving as a mentor for the Alumni–Student Mentorship Program.

Wed, Dec 3: Frosty Fest

Held in the Lough Gymnasium, LaDonna Gardner, Megan Webb, and PSC student Danika Conover manned the PSC Alumni Association table featuring alumni information and giveaways. The highlight was the prize wheel. Children could spin the wheel to determine the total pieces of candy they could choose if they correctly answered the holiday trivia question that they drew. Even if they did not have the correct answer, they got to choose one piece of candy. This event was as much fun for LaDonna, Megan, and Danika as it was for the children.

Thu, Dec 11: Hot Cocoa & Cookie Bar Pop-up

On such a bitter cold day, a hot beverage and a place to warm up was an absolute necessity. Fortunately, Hot Cocoa & Cookie Bar Pop-up was a well-timed event that provided just that for the PSC students. To add to the experience, a holiday-themed craft was also ready for the students to sit down, relax, and enjoy. Almost 40 students attended. LaDonna Gardner, Alumni Relations Coordinator, didn’t miss the opportunity to share about and recruit students to the Alumni-Student Mentorship Program.
