Raymond Marshall, Class of 1973

Raymond Marshall played linebacker on the Catamounts football team from 1971 to 1973.  In addition to being named to the All-Conference Team for both seasons, Marshall was also named Team Defensive Player of the Year, and the Outstanding Defensive Player in the All-Star Game.  He was selected as an All-American Honorable Mention, and was the leading tackler on the team.  Marshall also played on the WVU Mountaineers team in the 1975 Peach Bowl against North Carolina State.  The Mountaineers defeated NC with a score of 13-10, and earned Marshall ‘Defensive Most Valuable Player’ honors for the game. 

 

Charlisa Cummins, Class of 2005

Charlisa Cummins had 491 career rebounds, with 107 assists and 144 steals on the basketball court.  She was named All-WPCC for both years while at Potomac State, and All-Region XX her sophomore year.  Cummins also played on the team that won the Western Pennsylvania Collegiate Conference Title, and the first Region XX Championship to be achieved in women’s sports at the College, leading the team to the National Tournament in Phoenix, Arizona.  Individual stats also include scoring more than a thousand points during her two years at the College.

 

Joe Agreste, Class of 2007

Joe Agreste created several all-time records at the College, while playing in the infield on the Catamounts Baseball team, some of which include: as the sixth career leader in hitting with 127; sixth in runs with 104; third in runs batted in with 103; and eighth in triples with 9; as well as placing sixth with 55 walks.  After his freshman season, Agreste had a batting average of .348 and was named to the NJCAA College World Series All-Tournament Team.  He was also named to the All-Eastern District & Region XX 1st Team for both seasons, and was a Major League Baseball draft pick by the Seattle Mariners in 2006.  He was a pre-season NJCAA All-American Honorable Mention in 2007, and was named to the NJCAA All-American 2nd Team in 2007.
