WVU Potomac State College students recognized as Whitmore-Gates Scholars

Professors Amy Weaver and Danielle Lessard, PhD, recently announced the 2020 Whitmore-Gates student scholars during West Virginia University Potomac State College’s 80th Recognition Day Awards ceremony.

Students Madison Anderson, Nikki Cannon, Madison Sites, and Kaitlynn Spiker will have their names inscribed on the Duke Anthony Whitmore/Henry Louis Gates, Jr. Academic Achievement Wall, also referred to as The Scholars’ Wall.

Class of 2020 Makes History with College’s First Virtual Commencement

Dear PSC Class of 2020, 

As you heard from President Gee today, WVU and its divisional campuses will be adjusting their May graduation ceremonies in response to the Coronavirus pandemic. I am as disappointed as you are that we are having to take this difficult precautionary measure, however, my goal is to keep us all safe and healthy. WVU Potomac State College Reinvents Equine Management Major for Fall 2020

WVU Potomac State College has reinvented its Equine Management major so that students can pursue more entrepreneurial endeavors and small business enterprises as part of the Sustainable Agriculture Entrepreneurship (SAGE) program.
