Meet Hartley, a dynamic force on campus who brings energy, passion, and heart to everything she does! Recently named Outstanding Student of the Year, Hartley has made an unforgettable impact at PSC. As vice-president of both the Student Government Association and the Ag and Forestry Club, she has been a standout leader and advocate for her peers. On the soccer field, she shined as team captain and goalie for the PSC Women’s Soccer team, inspiring her teammates with her dedication and drive. Beyond athletics and academics, Hartley made a big impact in campus life as a resident assistant at University Place, where she built community and supported fellow students. Her commitment to service is just as impressive—she’s a regular volunteer at the Faith in Action Food Pantry in Keyser, W.Va., helped beautify Keyser Elementary during a school cleanup day, and shared her love of reading with local youth. Reflecting on her journey, Hartley shared: “I chose PSC for its hands-on programs and small class sizes but fell in love with the small-town atmosphere and the people who were instrumental in helping me succeed as a student. I met numerous faculty and staff who have influenced me along the way, especially those who taught my classes and the RHCs in Residence Life. I am very thankful to all of them for playing a part in my time at PSC.” Hartley’s passion for leadership, service, and community truly makes her a standout member of the Catamount family!
