Set a different course with summer classes at Potomac State

Get a jump on your college career by taking classes at West Virginia University Potomac State College this summer.  The College will offer classes in various subjects and time slots in order to fit schedules and better accommodate students. 

The summer term includes: a full 12-week session running from May 13 to August 2; a nine-week session running from May 13 to July 12; a six-week session running from May 13 to June 21; a second nine-week session running from June 3 to August 2; and a second six-week session running from June 24 to August 2.

Financial aid, summer housing, and dining options are available for students.

Courses being offered this summer can be found at go.wvu.edu/summersessions and include a variety of classes in accounting, agriculture, art, biology, and chemistry and their labs, criminal justice, economics, English, history, nutrition, math, psychology, anthropology, Spanish, sport and exercise psychology, and statistics.

The tuition discount is in effect for Allegany and Garrett counties of Maryland; Bedford, Fayette, and Somerset counties of Pennsylvania; and Frederick County, Virginia.
