WVU Potomac State College Interim Campus President Paul Kreider is pleased to announce the addition of Dr. Megan Webb as the Director of Development.

In this position, Webb will work closely with the WVU Foundation managing all aspects of the College’s development program, including a comprehensive major gift program as well as establishing and maintaining operational goals and budgetary requirements.

She will also develop and execute a donor relations and stewardship plan along with exclusive events. Additionally, Webb will plan, organize, and implement development strategies for all special projects and capital projects.

“We are excited to have Megan Webb join the team at WVU Potomac State College,” Kreider said. “We welcome her back to the Keyser community after extended experience in the academic environment as well as successful fundraising and grant-writing. I know she will be an excellent advocate for our college, our programs, and our faculty, staff, and students.”

Webb earned a bachelor’s degree from Texas A&M University, her master’s degree from Colorado State University, and a Ph.D. from South Dakota State University.

Webb previously served as Dean of Advancement and Innovation at Eastern West Virginia Community and Technical College, where she was responsible for creating Eastern’s first endowment of $300,000 through the Title III award. Webb also established the first Donor Wall, created Alumni campaigns, a college store which generates profits for the Foundation, and the annual Farm to Table Dinner.

"I am deeply honored to have the opportunity to contribute to the growth and success of WVU Potomac State College. I am eager to step into this role with great humility to continue and expand meaningful relationships that advance opportunities for students, programs, and the community,” Webb said. “My door is always open. I value collaboration and your input on our future, and I look forward to working with the College and the community!”

Webb is a native of Mineral County and resides in Burlington, WV near her family’s farm, Flying W Farms.
