Keyser, W.Va. - WVU Potomac State College Head Esports Coach and Esports Director, Josh Steger earned high honors recently, as he was named NACE Madden Coach of the Year. Announced by the National Association of Collegiate Esports (NACE) at the NACE National Convention this week, Steger beat out hundreds of other coaches around the nation to gain the title.

Mom encourages daughters to attend college, they, in turn, inspire her to pursue her college degree

Robin Llewellyn recognized as WVU Potomac State College’s 2021 Outstanding Staff Person
KEYSER, WV, JUNE 17, 2021 -- West Virginia University Potomac State College recently recognized Robin Llewellyn as the 2021 Outstanding Staff Person of Year. Llewellyn began her career with the College August 1, 2005, in Dining Services as a food service assistant. Then, Aug. 1, 2017, she was named a cook for the department.

Ghimire named ‘Outstanding Professor of the Year’ at Potomac State College

West Virginia University to close Friday, June 18, in observance of Juneteenth
WVU Potomac State College will close Friday, June 18, following a Presidential Proclamation and separate declaration issued by Gov. Jim Justice proclaiming a state holiday in recognition of Juneteenth.
Juneteenth, which is held on June 19 each year, celebrates the ending of slavery in the U.S. This year, June 19 falls on a Saturday. As a result, Friday, June 18, will be recognized as a full-day holiday for all public employees of the state.
All Potomac State College online classes will be canceled. Students are advised to check-in with their instructors via E-campus regarding any tests or assignments that were scheduled for Friday, June 18.
