Hello, Alumni & Friends!
The fall semester is here and with that comes lots of excitement on campus. Students are engaged in and outside the classroom, athletic events are well underway, and the Alumni Association just wrapped up the 50th Annual Homecoming Celebration!
Homecoming was a special weekend to welcome home our alumni. There were lots of events planned and enjoyed by alumni, faculty, staff, students, and community members.
Three outstanding alumni that were honored at the Alumni Awards & Athletic Hall of Fame Reception. Congratulations to Mikie Withrow (Young Alumni Award), Tommy Nester (Alumni Achievement Award), and Andrea Schafer (Distinguished Service Award). They are doing outstanding work in their communities and across our state. If you know of an alumni who is worthy of recognition, please nominate them online.
During Homecoming weekend, Catamount Chapters made its debut! This documentary film captures the legacy of WVU Potomac State College. Former students share their stories, and the lifelong impact PSC had on their lives. Initial access is only available through the purchase of the Limited-Edition 125th Anniversary Framed Poster that is available online. Special thanks to all that participated in this special project.
The Potomac State College Alumni-Student Mentorship Program needs mentors. Your experience can help guide our current PSC students to success. Please consider being part of this important program. You can sign up online to make a lasting impact on the life of a student.
