Dear Alumni & Friends,
The leaves are changing and the views from campus are phenomenal! Many great things have happened since my last message and I’m eager to share some new initiatives. As we transition to fall, feel free to keep up with the latest updates from the college on social media.
The students are back on campus, and I love seeing the vibrancy that they bring to WVU Potomac State College. It’s my pleasure to help students reach their goals and build long lasting relationships in the Catamount community.
Welcome Week was full of all kinds of activities to engage the students and help them get familiar with the campus, faculty, staff, and classmates. Convocation was filled with competitions pitting the students against the PSC employees, including me! Having fun together has been a wonderful way of breaking down the barriers and helping to foster friendships that, hopefully, will last a lifetime.
I’m eager to share WVU Potomac State College enrollment has eclipsed 1,300 for fall 2025! Last fall, PSC enrollment reached 1,078, making this fall-to-fall comparison the largest growth since 2009-2010. WVU Potomac State College offers a unique educational experience, while providing the only junior college athletics programs in West Virginia. The enrollment growth can be credited to the metro expansion tuition rate, ACCESS, and Level UP high school partnerships, and special recruiting and retention efforts.
In conclusion, I look forward to our continued work together to build a brighter future for WVU Potomac State College!
