Some of the happiest and most formative days of my life were spent on college campuses as a student acquiring knowledge, growing into adulthood, exploring diverse points of view, meeting lifelong friends, making mistakes and trying again. Those kinds of moments cause the people experiencing them to form deep and lasting attachments to their alma mater.
Alumni welcome students during Move-In Day
The Alumni Association participated in Fall 2022 Move-In Day activities, Sunday, Aug. 14, by sponsoring a table handing out water and snacks to incoming freshmen and their families. The alumni association also set up a scavenger hunt to help students become familiar with campus and nearby areas with the grand prize being a Gateway laptop. Welcoming students to campus that day and manning the table were board members from left: Sue Burns; Patty Sites, chair; Vickie Saville; and Martha Hood.
Homecoming 2022 activities announced
All alumni are invited to come back to their alma mater and engage in the following Homecoming 2022 activities, planned for Saturday, Oct. 15, on the WVU Potomac State College campus.
