Dining Services

We are here to help make your life on campus a positive experience by providing nutritious meals in a comfortable, attractive environment. PSC Dining Services promotes positive health choices with a focus on diets based on plenty of plant foods and sensible portions. When combined with moderate exercise, eating for better health is part of an overall healthy lifestyle. We also realize the importance of comfort food and offer the most popular selections at both locations. Take a look at what we have to offer.

Catering Services - on campus for any occasion

Our campus has two styles of dining options available to meet various needs of campus life. Both are located on the first floor of University Place and are easily accessible to resident hall students, commuters, staff and guests. First is The Commons, which offers a wide variety of foods to choose from and the pleasure of eating as much as you want at each meal. Perhaps you prefer to take food to your room, office, or class? Then The Rapids is your choice. Here all food is packaged to-go and is priced individually.

Benefits to Parents

PSC/WVU Dining Services is operated with no state fee support. As part of the PSC campus community, we take the care and feeding of your student both seriously and personally. With our dining plans you can be sure your student has access to nutritious, quality food served in a clean, comfortable atmosphere every day. Your student's well being is at the core of our mission. Your dollars are invested in food service related expenses only. We encourage you to visit our facilities and see for yourself, the quality and variety we present every day.

Residence Meal Plans

All students who choose to live in residence halls are required to purchase a meal plan as part of the Housing contract agreement.  There are three plans to choose from.  The 19 meal plan allows access once to every meal period served and provides the best value at a nominal cost of about $7.25 per meal (if every meal is eaten.) The 15 meal plan is available for someone who may not be planning to eat breakfast every day. It works every day of the week just like the 19 but the average cost per meal is a little higher. The third and overall least expensive plan is 10 meals per week and is designed for individuals who may only average eating twice each day during the school week. While the overall semester cost per plan goes down with each of these, the cost per meal is higher. Students should evaluate the options to determine which best suits their needs.  All plans include $50 Dining Dollars that can be used outside normal meal periods and on weekends at either dining location.

Commuter Meal Plans

Commuter students who are interested in participating in our dining program have nine meal plans to choose from.  These plans offer flexibility, value, and convenience to individuals who are on campus and need to get a bite to eat between classes.  These plans come in two styles, a block plan set for a specified number of meals for the semester or one of the weekly plans described above. Block plans may be purchased in 25, 50, or 80 count packages with or without $100 Dining Dollars. If a block plan is not giving enough access, commuter students may choose a plan that provides 10, 15, or 19 meals per week and they all come with $50 Dining Dollars. Please contact Dining Services to discuss your options and sign up for the meal plan that best fits your needs.
