Internship Experiences
Internships:
One internship will be in the Marketing Department and the other will be in App Development.
Xooker is a Lexington-based mobile marketing company whose free app has a high
engagement level among users. They have partnered with more than 800 businesses
to offer merchant coupons, discounts and rewards for playing games which consumers
can then use for merchandise or services.
As a Xooker intern, there will be various tasks and projects we may have our office interns assist with. Anything from administrative work, market research to social media as well as app testing, digital media and processing. Working as an intern here at Xooker offers real world experience that gives you a first-hand look at what it takes to operate and work for a fast growing mobile software company developed by a WVU Potomac State College alumnus!
Students will receive:
- A travel stipend
- Paid lodging at a hotel for the week
- A $500 scholarship
