Rotaract Club receives 2017-18 Rotary Citation

Club members of the Rotaract Club of West Virginia University Potomac State College gained recognition as the recipients of the 2017-18 Rotary Citation, awarded by Rotary International President Ian H.S. Riseley.  The club earned this award by fulfilling the 2017-18 theme of “Rotary: Making A Difference” and achieving goals such as increasing club membership, donating to The Rotary Foundation, outreaching to the community via sustainable service projects, and building awareness of Rotary in the Keyser area.

Potomac State to hold ‘Winter Hitting Camp’

West Virginia University Potomac State College has scheduled two Winter Hitting Camps, the first one will be held on Sunday, January 13 for ages 6 to 12, with the second one being held on January 20 for ages 13 to 17.  Registration is from noon to 1 p.m., with the camps running from 1 to 4 p.m.  Both camps will be held at the College’s Lough Gymnasium.

During these one-day intensive camps, participants will learn the latest in hitting techniques as well as the mechanics of the swing, while also taking part in hitting and bunting drills.
