WVU Potomac State College Employees Recognized with Values Coins
KEYSER, WV, MARCH 6, 2020 -- West Virginia University Potomac State College recently recognized seven employees for going above and beyond to make PSC a better place by exemplifying WVU’s Core Values of Service, Curiosity, Respect, Accountability, and Appreciation, through their daily work. Each was presented with a 2019 WVU Values Coin and Certificate.

‘Gates to Freedom” to be presented at WVU Potomac State College
The Social Justice Council at West Virginia University Potomac State College will host a presentation about Jane Gates, entrepreneur, homeowner, single parent, and emancipated slave, on Friday, Feb. 21 in the Davis Conference Center at 12:30 p.m.
WV Invests Potomac State student gets second chance at college degree
WVU Potomac State College student, Kieran Warner detailed her experiences as a participant in the West Virginia Invests Grant Program. Warner will graduate debt free this spring with a degree in business administration.
“WV Invests enabled me to return to college and complete my degree in business administration,” Kieran Warner said from Queen’s Point Coffee, where she works as an assistant manager. “I attended Potomac State College in 2015 but the timing just wasn’t right, so when I saw the information about the WV Invests program, I was hopeful that I would get a second chance at earning a college degree.”
Auditions for ‘Keyser’s Got Talent’ coming up at WVU Potomac State College
Open auditions will be held for the annual “Keyser’s Got Talent” showcase on Tuesday, February 18 and Thursday, Feb. 20 at 6 p.m. in the Church-McKee Arts Center on the campus of West Virginia University Potomac State College. The competition will be held on Wednesday, Feb. 26 at 6:30 p.m.
First-, second- and third-place cash prizes will be awarded in the amounts of $500, $300 and $200 respectively. Acts will be judged on originality and creativity; degree of difficulty; stage presence; audience response; and overall performance.
