Raymond Kiddy, PhD, has been named the athletic director at West Virginia University Potomac State College, Dean of Student Experience Lucas Taylor announced Friday.
Assistant Professor of English James Morgart, PhD, who offers inspiration and guidance to his students, was named WVU Potomac State College’s 2020 Outstanding Professor of the Year earlier this spring.

WVU Potomac State College has reinvented its Equine Management major so that students can pursue more entrepreneurial endeavors and small business enterprises as part of the Sustainable Agriculture Entrepreneurship (SAGE) program. Pictured brushing one of the College’s Quarter Horses is Darian Bender, who graduated this spring with an AAS degree in Animal Science. She is enrolled in the SAGE four-year degree program starting this fall.
West Virginia University Potomac State College held its 80th Recognition Day Awards ceremony and Scholars’ Wall event earlier this spring. During this time, Madison Sites, a biology major from Sugar Grove, W.Va., received several awards, one of which was the Keyser Rotary Club’s “Service Above Self” award.
